Coming out of the Crazy Shadows I've been listening to recordings of Maria Callas - but does this capture her?

Del, this is a beautiful tribute to Maria Callas. I have to say I was never a particular fan of hers, but I was always interested in her life story. She died far too young and her abandonment by the only man she loved was both cruel and very public. I was also interested to read your prose and your account of depression. My Mother has been locked in that place for 5 months and there is not a shred of light there at the moment.I will keep this piece and read it to her and remind her that she has much to look forward to when her darkness starts to lift and her panics lessen. Thank you for both the poem and the prose. Sensitively written by someone who knows the subject matter.
