Honda ridgeline radio illumination?

I have a 2007 honda Ridgeline RT i just got it and noticed at night when i turn on all the lights that the radio does not illuminate at all.. the a/c and heather Controls do and every other light but not the radio.. i checked the fuse and it wasn't burnt out, now is the radio not supposed to light up or is it?
