Can I replace a non illuminated keyboard on an alienware m176 with an illuminated one?

I am getting my friends old alienware area 51 m17 laptop, and some keys are missing, its very sticky in about 1/4 of the keyboard and its un illuminated. I plan on getting an illuminated one for it because its only 50 bucks but I was wandering will the version without the illumination have the correct hookups for the illuminated keyboard? I just don't wanna buy it to find out It wont work with the non-illuminated build
