Would it be legal too...?

Someone ding dong ditched me. This is the second time we had a problem with these people. Since I do not live in a neighborhood the people were dumb enough to park in my drive way. Since they are on my property could I get in trouble if I throw a rock or something at their car or go up and key? They are not very fast at getaways so I'd be able to but I'm asking would I have to pay for damages?
